OCCTRACK MAKES HOST REPORTING EASY

Have you ever tried to create a forecast report from HOST using R&R Report writer like the one below? 

It is either hard or impossible to do because HOST keeps track of future reservations with only one record per reservation.  This report requires a table with one record per occupied room night.  Moreover, shared reservations, suites and shared suites make many of the calculations very complicated.

Have you struggled to calculate available rooms even for past dates? The problem is that out-of-order rooms are stored in the same way as future reservations and the only way to subtract these units from the total inventory is to do so by hand in an Excel spreadsheet.

Do you work with groups?  Would you like to know the ratio of picked-up rooms in relation to blocked rooms for a group arriving in the future?  While it is possible to do this using R&R it is very difficult and requires advanced calculations.

That’s right.  OccTrack is an add-on program from Hammerman Associates that combines historical and current reservation and transaction tables, and “explodes” reservations to produce a working table with one record per unit-night past, present and future. Shared reservations are combined.  Suites are separated into their component units.  RESNO, LEVEL, UNIT, MRKT, GROUP and anticipated ADR are among the included fields.  The OccTrack program is updated once a day so your analyses are always accurate as of close of business the previous day.

·         OccTrack is written in FoxPro. It is directly compatible with HOST and produces tables that can be used with R&R Report Writer, the reporting software provided with HOST. ·         OccTrack makes no changes to any HOST tables. Your license and support contract with PAR-SMS are secure.

·         In a typical installation OccTrack is run once a day just after night audit. This assures that your reports are accurate as of close of business the day before. The update process takes between 5 and 20 minutes depending on the size of the property.

·         OccTrack is customizable.  During the remote installation process OccTrack will be configured so that it relfects the way your property does business. 

·         Remote installation is included. We will install and configure OccTrack using remote desktop or similar software. Working with your IT department we will set it up so that it runs automatically once a day.
